We Are Nazarene

The Church of the Nazarene was organized at Pilot Point, TX in 1908
It was formed by the uniting of several holiness denominations
The denomination now has work in over 160 world areas For more information on the church of the Nazarene check out the denomination's website at www.nazarene.org.

The University Church of the Nazarene was organized in 1954. In 1965 the church purchased property at 1555 N. McLean Blvd and became Indian Hills Church of the Nazarene.

We are a community of people who love God, love people, and show it
We desire to share the hope of the Gospel with those around us by meeting their needs in the name of Jesus
We believe there is a place for every person to serve here

What We Believe
  • We believe there is one God
  • We believe in the unity of God Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
  • We believe that every person is born with the inherited flaw of sin
  • We believe that the Bible reveals all we need to know in order to be forgiven by God
  • We believe that Jesus Christ was born, lived, died, and was resurrected to give us a relationship with God
  • We believe that a day is coming when Jesus Christ will return, His Church will be gathered to Him, and the final judgment will occur
