Meet our Pastors
Dennis & Sara Welch
Senior Pastor
Pastor Dennis and Sara were married August 31, 1968.  They have three grown children, Dana, David, and Dan.  They also are blessed with 10 grandchildren.  Pastor Dennis worked for International Business Machines for 25 years.  During that time he earned a Bachelor of Business degree from Emporia State University at Emporia, KS.  He proved the saying IBM means I’ve Been Moved true by moving the family 8 times.

He answered the call to ministry in 1992.  He enrolled in the Nazarene Bible College at Colorado Springs, CO.  While earning an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies Pastor Dennis was called to his first fulltime ministry assignment at Indian Heights Church of the Nazarene at Colorado Springs.  After 4 years he accepted a call to La Junta First Church of the Nazarene at La Junta, CO.  In 2002 he was called to Indian Hills Church of the Nazarene at Wichita, KS where he serves today.

Pastor Dennis and Sara are committed to the people of Indian Hills.  His strengths lie in a strong desire to preach and teach the Word of God in a manner to be understood and applied to individual’s lives.  Also, his corporate background gives him insight ino the necessary business needs of the church.

In his time out of the office Pastor Dennis enjoys riding his bicycle.  The past nine years he has ridden in the Flint Hills Bike MS event to raise funds and awareness to create a world free of MS.  In addition, his youngest son challenged him to ride 2018 miles in 2018 which he has surpassed.
Tony Cline
Family Life Director
Tony Cline joined our staff in 2019.  He has a heart for those who are struggling due to the pressures of life.  Because of his own struggles over a ten-year period Tony desires to connect with our local community and offer the HOPE of Christ.  At the same time, he is using his life experience to prepare the members of our congregation to assist others in their faith journey as well as to help meet physical needs.
Pastor Dennis and Tony are working to develop his ministry to give as many people as possible an opportunity to come to a personal relationship with God through faith in Christ. Tony’s calling is “A ministry focused on attracting, retaining, and bringing younger families to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.”
